As a work-from-home Learning Designer, Content Developer, and Project Manager for the Western Washington University/LIHI Mentoring Project, Marc created the program’s online training in the Canvas LMS, including all program content. As Special Project manager, Marc oversaw all aspects of this online training program and was responsible for budget, curriculum design, evaluation, course improvement, and online training.

The program trained diverse college students to then train LIHI housing residents, and successfully matriculated 20 learners in a 2-year period. See https://wce.wwu.edu/lihi/lihiwwu-mentoring-partnership for more program information. See the video introduction to the training below.

Authoring Tools:

  • Camtasia – program marketing
  • Canvas – LMS and content
  • Powtoon – animation for program evaluation
  • Prezi – presentation to Western Washington University Board of Trustees
